Lions Community Transport
The club’s community transport service has been running for over 40 years, with members driving the mini-bus on a rota system.
Each Sunday in the season the mini-bus takes a group of people to Burnham on Sea for a weeks holiday, returning with the previous weeks group.
During the rest of the week it will be taking residents from an old folks home out for lunch, or to a social club meeting or an summer evening trip around the county and a pub stop.
The mini-bus is adapted to carry wheelchairs so is in big demand by those groups caring for the handicapped.
